At the beginning of this year, I began naming my abstract works by number to free the process from fixed meaning. In this piece, Prelude, I explored light and color as a code of life—working through contrast, space, and structure to express a multidimensional view. The process extended beyond expectation, but led me to a clearer sense of freedom and completion.
It holds presence through layered contrast, quietly inviting conversation about structure and unseen order. Viewers are drawn into questions of light, space, and direction. Rooted in a clear shift in practice and guided by a consistent way of seeing, it holds together with internal coherence. Its structure unfolds through light and contrast, becoming something one returns to and speaks about—a multidimensional sense of order that emerges more clearly the longer one engages with it.
